Some things we've built

A couple of our own products, and client work described in general terms because most of it is under NDA.

Our own products

Things we have designed and built for ourselves.

Superboard 2040

A bench tool that puts an SWD debugger, a logic analyser and a USB serial port on one board with one cable. It came out of not knowing which end was broken when a board wouldn't talk: whether the GPIO was set up, whether it was the wrong port, whether the two ends were talking at all.

With a desktop viewer for the captures and its own enclosure.

CubeBus

A modular system where you build a product out of slide-in cards on a shared backplane, a bit like Lego for electronics. A built-in management processor watches the whole bus, finds out what's plugged in, and can debug and reprogramme every card, so when something doesn't work the box tells you why instead of just sitting there.

It's early. The first boards are built and we're programming cards through the backplane, and there's a fair way to go yet.

Client work

Names left out on purpose.

Fire-safety radio hub

A multi-card hub for a fire-alarm system, with a wired backplane and sub-GHz radio, running FreeRTOS.

Thermostat production test

Automated production test for a connected thermostat, with a test report on every build.

Wi-Fi and BLE PCBA self-test

Self-test firmware that checks the security chip, memory and radios on every board. It caught a PCB wiring fault on the first batch.

Zigbee and Matter

Zigbee application and test tooling, and Matter thermostat firmware.

Device fleet server

Device check-in, telemetry, reboot detection and remote commands for a fleet of connected devices, with a drop-in client library.

Mains fan controller

Low-cost mains speed controller with a Wi-Fi variant. Still at the design and costing stage.
